I'm not sure if it's the same in other languages, but in italian Fata Morgana is a kind of hallucination provoked by the heat, in deserts. So that's where the title comes from.
The place is the Wadden See, on the coasts of Denmark (island of Rømø ). No editing or manipulation, all work done in camera.
